USDA APHIS review
We are compiling breeder documentation to comply with the Animal Welfare Act (federal) so every breeder featured on the platform meets USDA APHIS standards where required.
State-by-state pet dealer licensing
Filing with every state that requires a pet dealer or broker license before we can facilitate a puppy transaction. Priority states first: TX, OK, GA, FL, NC, SC, TN, AL, CA, OH, MI.
Business entity + tax registration
iHeart Frenchies is a registered business entity in good standing, with sales-tax collection set up for states where nexus applies.
Health guarantee & transport agreements
Standardized health guarantee, veterinary examination requirement, and interstate transport agreement — reviewed by legal counsel with veterinary input.
Consumer protection review
Review of state-specific "puppy lemon laws" (e.g., FL, CA, NY, PA, VA) so buyer protections are transparent and consistent nationwide.
Data privacy & PCI
Payments will be tokenized through PCI-compliant providers (Stripe / Square) — sensitive financial data never touches our servers. Privacy policy aligned with CCPA + GDPR-equivalent state laws.
