What is a Mask Variations French Bulldog?
The E locus governs whether a Frenchie can express any dark hair on the face. Mask presence has always varied in the breed and is not itself a color — it is a modifier that layers over any color.
A black mask across the muzzle and often black ear tips. On dilute Frenchies the mask appears blue or lilac. On cream Frenchies (e/e) the mask is absent entirely.
