What is a Cream French Bulldog?
Cream has appeared in Frenchies since the breed’s formalization and is an AKC breed-standard color. It historically appears less often than fawn because it requires both parents to carry the recessive e allele.
A soft, uniform cream to off-white coat with a solid black nose, dark eye rims, and dark paw pads. Cream Frenchies do not have masks because the e/e genotype prevents any black hair on the body.
The DNA behind the color
Cream is recessive red — both parents must carry at least one copy of the e allele for a cream puppy to be produced.
Two carriers (E/e × E/e) will produce approximately 25% cream puppies per litter. Cream × Cream will produce 100% cream puppies.

Setting the record straight
