French Bulldogs are, temperamentally, some of the most emotionally attached dogs in existence. They bond hard, they love routine, they read their humans’ moods, and they don’t handle isolation well. Almost every “behavior problem” in the breed — separation anxiety, resource guarding, jealous nipping, reactive barking — traces back to something about that attachment being unmet or overwhelmed.
