What is a Platinum Lilac French Bulldog?
The "Platinum Lilac" label describes a lilac (b/b · d/d) Frenchie carrying a cream-modifying e/e genotype. The visual result is a lilac-toned Frenchie with almost no shading — pale silver-lilac with pinkish undertones.
A pale silver-lilac coat with soft pink or lavender undertones. Nose leather and paw pads are a muted lilac-gray, eye color often light amber to gray-blue.
The DNA behind the color
Requires b/b (chocolate), d/d (dilute), and e/e (recessive red).
Both parents must carry all three recessives (b, d, e). Verified DNA testing is required to distinguish Platinum Lilac from standard Platinum or Isabella.
